Native Plants
In an effort to improve fish & wildlife habitat, prevent soil erosion and reduce water consumption on private land Solano Resource Conservation District has hundreds of low cost native and non-invasive drought tolerant plants available for purchase by District landowners at any time. A few examples of available plants include the following:

Bird & Bat Boxes
Solano Resource Conservation District partnered with several local schools and service groups to construct low cost bird & bat boxes for purchase by district landowners at any time.
Installing bird and bat boxes is not only a great way to improve habitat for wildlife, especially those species which depend on old growth or dead trees to provide suitable nest sites, but it also helps you control rodent and insect populations on your property. We currently have nesting boxes available for the following wildlife species:
